Digital Experience Design: Virtual Black Santa for NAAM

In 2021 when pandemic risks were still high, I coordinated a digital experience that allowed children and families to visit and take photos virtually and safely with a culturally-representative Black Santa in conjunction with the Northwest African American Museum.

A joint effort with the NAAM team and virtual photo booth company CLIQ Booths, over 50 families got time with Santa via Zoom and had the opportunity to spend as much time as they want in our virtual Santa photo booth. After researching and speaking with three different virtual photo booth companies, I knew CLIQ Booths had booth the digital infrastructure and features to ensure our family’s had a smooth and joyful experience in our photo booth.
